If there’s one thing that was greatly enhanced during the series of lockdowns, it’s that people have become increasingly creative.
Whether people just had enough time in their hands to act on their ideas or were talented from the start, we see a lot of trendy videos in various social media apps right that put past viral productions to shame.
Since most of us stay home, this helps churn out all those creative juices that had taken a back seat before while we were busy doing, well, our everyday lives. Many apps have already surfaced to give these creators that much needed support as far as creative platforms are concerned.
One such app is Zynn!
Zynn is a social commerce app dedicated to creators and those fond of sharing and connecting with like-minded people. Creators can share the links of their favorite products to monetize their influence while the audience can easily shop for goods within the app. When Zynn was launched last May, it quickly became one of the most downloaded apps from both the Apple App Store and Google’s Play Store.
I tried and tested the app myself. After downloading the app, I opened it, and you’ll be greeted by the home screen. On the bottom section, you’ll see two icons: home and me. The first thing you have to do, of course, is to sign up. You can do so by using your phone number, your Facebook account, or your Google/Gmail profile. Once you’ve signed up, personalize your profile, and you’re ready to get started.
You can check out the cool videos on Zynn by clicking the “home” button. To scroll through the hottest and trendiest videos right now, swipe up. If you wish to know more about the creator behind the videos and follow them, swipe to the left.
What I like about the app is its straightforward approach and how its graphics are so pleasing and attractive. There’s not much clutter around, and you’ll immediately know which buttons to click to get to where you want. For example, when looking at a video and you like it, press the “thumb” icon, click on the review button on the right bottom corner should you like to leave a comment, and if you feel the need to share the video through other social media platforms, then press the “forward” button on the right top corner. Easy peasy!
Oh! Their profiles on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Medium are super fun and worth reading so don’t forget to check them out!
